Mythcast AI
Pick a character, upload your own photo, and see yourself inside that world.
A character portrait of yourself means commissioning an artist and waiting a week.
What it does
Mythcast holds 100 original characters across ten realms. You pick one, upload a photo of yourself, and the app renders you in that character's style in about half a minute. Every portrait is private to you — there is no shared feed, and nobody else sees what you made.
How it works
- Pick a legend100 original characters across ten realms, none of them borrowed from someone else's world.
- Upload your own photoone with your face visible. The app asks once, explicitly, before anything leaves the device.
- It renders in about half a minutethe work runs on the server, not on your battery.
- It stays yoursportraits are private to your account, and deleting the account deletes them with it.
Under the screen
- Hono
- TypeScript
- Drizzle
- PostgreSQL
- Cloudflare R2
- Replicate
- Flutter
- React admin panel
Hono and TypeScript run the API on a netcup server in the EU, with Drizzle and PostgreSQL behind it. Replicate generates the portrait, and a second model screens every result before it is returned. Uploaded photos and finished portraits live in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket that only ever hands out signed links valid for fifteen minutes. Flutter is the mobile client, and a React admin panel manages the character templates.
